Here at The Chocolate Emporium we love to celebrate Halloween! When the nights draw in and the wet leaves carpet the ground, it's the time for ghosts and ghouls to creep from the shadows and spook the neighbourhood. Or at least for the kids to get dressed up and trick or treat! 

Halloween is a celebration of that takes place on the Eve of the West Christian feast of All Hallows Day. It begins the three day observance of Allhallowstide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints, martyrs and the departed dead. It is observed through many different traditions such as trick or treating, carving pumpkins, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories and watching horror films. It's a time when people come together and take a lot of enjoyment out of facing their fears. Once a predominantly American tradition, Halloween has made big steps into the UK in the past few decades.
